Position Requirements and Duties
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and plans and analyze them.
- Ensure that the finished work adheres to the original requirements and is in accordance with building standards and regulations.
- Build portable structures such as scaffolding and frame shelters.
- Perform floor, wall, and roof framing, as well as deck, window, and door installation.
- Keep the job site clean and orderly while properly disposing of waste.
- Troubleshoot and make any necessary repairs or modifications.
Skills:
- Ability to read and understand designs.
- The ability to precisely measure, cut, and shape wood.
- Excellent critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to multitask well in high-pressure job conditions.
Qualifications:
- Show a strong work ethic and a real sense of commitment (sense of hustle).
- Willingness to welcome new learning experiences.
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
