Core Job Responsibilities
Key Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints and architectural plans
- Precisely cut and shape lumber into structural components
- Build framing using various fastening techniques
- Ensure finished products meet codes and specifications
- Maintain organized, clean and safe jobsites
- Troubleshoot issues and make necessary repairs
Essential Skills:
- Mastery of blueprint reading
- Expertise in measuring, cutting and shaping wood
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving
- Exceptional multi-tasking in fast-paced settings
