Job Requirements & Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Review blueprints, layouts and construction specifications
- Measure, mark and prepare lumber or other building materials
- Assemble frameworks using appropriate tools, fasteners and construction methods
- Perform framing, rough carpentry or finish work based on the assigned role
- Maintain organized work areas and properly handle construction debris
- Identify installation problems and complete necessary adjustments or repairs
Skills:
- Ability to understand construction plans, measurements and instructions
- Accurate cutting, shaping and preparation of building materials
- Practical problem-solving during active construction work
- Ability to work productively with supervisors, carpenters and other trades
Qualifications:
