Job Requirements & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Review blueprints, layouts and construction specifications
  • Measure, mark and prepare lumber or other building materials
  • Assemble frameworks using appropriate tools, fasteners and construction methods
  • Perform framing, rough carpentry or finish work based on the assigned role
  • Maintain organized work areas and properly handle construction debris
  • Identify installation problems and complete necessary adjustments or repairs

Skills:

  • Ability to understand construction plans, measurements and instructions
  • Accurate cutting, shaping and preparation of building materials
  • Practical problem-solving during active construction work
