Position Requirments and Duties

Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints and plans and analyze them.
  • Ensure that the finished work adheres to the original requirements and is in accordance with building standards and regulations.
  • Build portable structures such as scaffolding and frame shelters.
  • Perform floor, wall, and roof framing, as well as deck, window, and door installation.
  • Keep the job site clean and orderly while properly disposing of waste.
  • Troubleshoot and make any necessary repairs or modifications.

Skills:

  • Ability to read and understand designs.
  • The ability to precisely measure, cut, and shape wood.
  • Excellent critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to multitask well in high-pressure job conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Show a strong work ethic and a real sense of commitment (sense of hustle).
  • Willingness to welcome new learning experiences.

Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
